Brightwaters relocating before phase five in early 2021
All residents will receive Tenant Protection Vouchers, relocation assistance, mobility counseling and case management assistance
All residents will maintain a first right to return, pending they remain in good standing
Residents relocated from Riverview and Brightwaters will be offered admission to the 229 replacement apartments first and will maintain the first right to housing via a site-based waitlist
The only criteria for Riverview and Brightwaters residents to receive relocation and case management benefits are:
Not to vacate current units prior to receiving official notice and/or confirming any moves with Choice staff
Lease complaint at the time of relocation
Remain lease complaint while relocated in a different unit
In partnerships with TPS and Communities in Schools, residents will be provided with education-specific case management as well as to the extent possible additional transportation options to allow students to remain enrolled at current schools. TPS will also provide enrollment assistance for families wishing to attend schools near their relocation units.
